It was great to visit the new Grangetown United Community Hub today. What a transformation!

This is now a brilliant multi-use building with a community café, licensed bar, stage/theatre, and plenty of community event space. The play village is going to provide so much fun for local kids – I couldn’t resist checking out Grangetown’s new post office 😂!

The building also has four business units, providing a new home for Pav’s munchies, Alis, Tiger Tots nursery, and a new barber shop, G’s Barber’s. The old precinct next door will be demolished and landscaped.

Lynn, Leanne and the team at FROG have worked incredibly hard to deliver this, securing £1.5 million for Grangetown and overcoming many challenges along the way. They stuck at it and it is great to see the building now open for the whole community to enjoy. True community champions, well done!

Make sure you follow the Grangetown United page to stay up to date on everything happening at the new hub.
