Teenage Cancer Trust

I am proud to be supporting Teenage Cancer Trust as my Charity of the Year 2015/2016 in honour of Marske teenager Georgina Anderson.

15 year old Georgina sadly died in November 2013, just four months after being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Georgina's bravery, positivity and musical talent were an inspiration to so many as she battled the disease and shared her amazing voice with the world.

Thousands of pounds have been raised for Teenage Cancer Trust in Georgina's name by friends, family, as well as strangers.

The Trust do amazing work supporting young cancer patients - 7 young people are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK - and their families with expert care and support so that they do not have to face cancer on their own.

Georgina's family, Paul, Helen and Joe continue to do great work raising money for the Trust in Georgina's memory.

I am pleased to be joining them and my team and I will be doing challenges and holding events throughout the year to raise as much money as we can.
