My Future Jobs campaign will get to the heart of the jobs crisis in Redcar and Teesside. My campaign will explore the key issues and challenges around employment and jobs in the Redcar constituency, and will report back with a number of recommendations and pledges to take to local people ahead of the 2015 General Election. Concern about jobs is a top priority for people in the area and under this government long-term unemployment has rocketed here, particularly for women and for young people. I am determined to tackle this and to take a plan to government to create sustainable and jobs with fair pay and create a future that works for the Redcar constituency.
